• Missing persons location services
• Background checks and records analysis
• Corporate, civil, and domestic investigations

Specific service scope, deliverables, timelines, and fees for any engagement are governed by a separate written engagement letter or service agreement signed between Tyde Link and the client. These Terms supplement — but do not replace — that engagement-specific contract.

3. Licensing & Compliance

Tyde Link operates under a current license issued by the North Carolina Private Protective Services Board ("PPSB") pursuant to NC General Statutes Chapter 74C. All armed and investigative personnel deployed by Tyde Link hold the individual licenses, certifications, and training credentials required by NC law for their respective roles.

License numbers and Certificates of Insurance are available to prospective clients upon written request. We comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing the security and private investigations industries.

4. Engagement & Quotes

Information submitted through our website (including contact forms, quote requests, and inquiries) does not by itself constitute an agreement to provide services. An engagement begins only when:

• Tyde Link has reviewed your inquiry and determined we are able and willing to provide the requested services;
• A written engagement letter or service agreement has been signed by both parties;
• Any required deposit or retainer has been received in cleared funds.

Tyde Link reserves the right to decline any engagement for any lawful reason, including but not limited to conflicts of interest, scope incompatibility, capacity constraints, or concerns about the legality, ethics, or feasibility of the requested service.

Quotes provided are estimates based on information available at the time of quotation. Final fees may differ based on actual conditions, scope changes, or additional requirements identified during service delivery.

5. Fees & Payment

Specific fees, billing schedules, and payment terms are set out in your engagement letter. General provisions:

• Retainers: certain investigative engagements require a retainer paid in advance.
• Recurring services: guard, patrol, and ongoing service contracts are typically billed monthly or per agreed schedule.
• Late payments: overdue invoices may incur late fees and may result in suspension of services upon notice.
• Refunds: retainer balances unused at the conclusion of an engagement are refunded within 30 days, less any fees incurred and any cancellation fees specified in the engagement letter.
• Disputed amounts: if you dispute any portion of an invoice, you must notify us in writing within 15 days of the invoice date or it will be deemed accepted.

6. Confidentiality

Tyde Link treats all client information, case details, and engagement-specific data as strictly confidential. We will not disclose information obtained during an engagement except:

• With your express written authorization;
• To our team members, contractors, or service providers with a legitimate need to know, all of whom are bound by confidentiality obligations;
• As required by law, court order, subpoena, or valid request from licensed authorities;
• As necessary to enforce our rights under these Terms or applicable agreements.

Confidentiality obligations survive the termination of any engagement.
